Definition:
- CUSS is a shared kiosk offering convenient passenger check-in whilst allowing multiple airlines to maintain branding and functionality.
Target:
- Accelerate the implementation of CUSS technology with the goal of reaching 130 CUSS airports at the end of 2008.

- Remote check-in capabilities (car parks, train stations, car rental return facilities) will reduce airport congestion

- IATA has signed MOUs with Doha, Geneva, Helsinki, JFK New York, Kenya Airports Authority, Kunming Airport, Kuala Lumpur airports, La Guardia, Lisbon, Newark, Royal Jordanian/Jordanian Civil Aviation Authority, San Francisco, Singapore Changi, Sydney, Toronto and ground handling firm Swissport to implement CUSS
