CASS is processing in more than 90 operations, serving over 250 airlines, general sales & service agents (GSSAs), and ground handling companies.
CASS has a 100% on-time settlement rate.
CASS implementation requirements
CASS requires more than one airline / freight forwarder per operation to be effective. IATA carries out an assessment per operation to assess participants, operational practices and operational costs.
CASS implementation is then subject to a given operation’s airlines to evaluate whether to bear the cost of implementing CASS.
Participation and costs
IATA Accredited Agents/CASS Associates can join CASS at no cost, whereas non-IATA agents or other intermediaries may join at a cost determined locally. If you are a freight forwarder and want to know more about participation in CASS, contact your local IATA Manager or get in touch with your regional customer service.
All airlines are eligible to participate.
Entry fees are $2,500 for IATA member Airlines and $3,500 for non-member Airlines or GSA's. All other costs are shared equally based on the respective volumes airlines process through the system.
For Airlines or GSA's wanting more information or to join CASS, please contact IATA customer service.
