The StB programme is all about facts: ET penetration, number of airlines, passenger volumes, ET status, SSCI capability. To help with this, IATA has two key elements to help provide business intelligence for the STB programme:
- a Business Intelligence Process
- a Business Intelligence tool with superior query, reporting and dashboard functionalities
Business Intelligence Process
The BI process supports decisions, trigger tasks, and therefore turns strategy into action. It also serves the purpose of strategy development, and supports the process of communication by linking and aligning all stakeholders.
Business Intelligence Tool
The StB BI enables IATA to access airline, airport and other industry players factual information. This will allow for benchmarking and measurement of key variables, and will play a decisive role in maintaining and conveying a single message strategy to all its stakeholders.
Industry stakeholders will be provided with an overview of their own project status and receive the support needed to identify potential hurdles, areas needing improvement as well as key statistical information.
