ICAO Eleventh Air Navigation Conference (AN-Conf/11), held in Montreal in 2003, addressed vital issues related to air traffic management, communications, navigation, surveillance and aeronautical electromagnetic spectrum. All ICAO Member States and a number of international organizations, including IATA, were invited to participate and to contribute with working papers.
The IATA industry priority addressed at the conference was to secure approval of the ATM-CNS (Air Traffic Management – Communications, Navigation and Surveillance) programme.
