Cargo Services Conference (CSC)


The primary objectives of the Cargo Services Conference (CSC) include:

  • Setting standards for cargo industry procedures
  • Developing common industry positions on broad cargo services issues
  • Exchanging industry information
  • Providing direction and guidance to the permanent subgroups
  • Liaising with other IATA bodies such as Cargo Agency Conference, Cargo Tariff Coordinating Conferences, Passenger Services Conference, Airport Services Committee, IATA Ground Handling Council, and Revenue Accounting Panel.

The resolutions and recommended practices issued by the CSC are published in the Cargo Services Conference Resolutions Manual (CSCRM).

Meeting Schedule

The CSC normally meets once a year.

Membership

All IATA active Member and associate Member airlines are entitled to membership in the CSC. Active members have voting rights and Associate members can attend as observers. The current CSC Chairman is Mr. Todd Frazier (FedEx).
