European Airports Steering Group (EASG)

The European Airports Steering Group (EASG) is a multidisciplinary group including  airlines involved in airport planning, user charges, scheduling and flight operations. The group's objective is to review airport development activity in the region. EASG also supports the Airport Consultative Committee (ACC) activity, notably with the development of a work plan.

EASG assists the Regional Co-ordinating Group (RCG) in carrying out its work with regard to the operations (runway/taxiway), apron/terminal and surface access components of airports.

EASG participation

Membership is open to airline members involved in airport planning, user charges, scheduling and flight operations. Additional participation can include representatives from Facilitation, Air Transport Action Group (ATAG), Airports Council International (ACI) and the International Air Carriers Association (IACA).

Accredited Members of IATA's Strategic Partnerships may participate at open sessions of these meetings. EASG meets twice a year, under IATA coordination. The chair is taken by an elected airline member who sits for four consecutive meetings.
