The IATA Ground Handling Council (IGHC) is the major forum of international ground handling executives. The council brings together over 400 organisations providing or purchasing ground handling services to airlines worldwide. Membership is available to:
- IATA Airline Members as well as non-members and their ground handling subsidiaries;
- Airport and Government authorities providing ground handling services;
- Other companies and persons providing ground handling services.
Contributing to the development of standards
IGHC members have the unique opportunity to participate in the standards setting process for ground handling. For example, the Recommended Practices set out in the IATA Airport Handling Manual are developed by IGHC working groups.
Annual IGHC Meeting
Please stay tuned for the dates and location of the IGHC 22nd Annual Meeting!
